An original sketch of one character, drawn on 5x7 (roughly) toned cardstock. Finished in either gray tones or full color (add $20), with white highlights.

• Single character head-and-shoulders shot
• Drawn on 5x7 toned cardstock. Each piece is hand-cut, so size may not be exact (but it’s close).

• Finished with ink and white highlights
• Gray tones done with Copic markers
• Colors done primarily with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils (add $20)

TMNT ARTIST Return SKETCH CARD - $100

An original full-color piece, drawn on a TMNT Artist Return sketch card from IDW. These are official sketch cards that were only given to artists who created artwork for TMNT books published by IDW Limited. I have only 10 of these available.

• Any single character from the TMNT universe
• Sketched in red pencil
• Finished with ink, full color, and white highlights
• Colors done primarily with Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils
• Signed on back (and front, if space allows)

COMIC BOOK SKETCH COVER - $150

An original full-color piece, drawn on a blank sketch cover comic provided by you.

Important: Paper stock on these covers varies wildly. Some are great to draw on, and others have proven to be a nightmare, particularly at taking marker and ink, so I can’t guarantee that colors will lay down properly. If I run into a problem, we’ll talk about it and figure out how best to move forward, but just a heads up that we’re at the mercy of whatever paper the publisher used on your book.

• Single character upper-body shot
• Front cover only
• Sketched in red pencil
• Finished with ink, color, and white highlights, but dependent on paper quality
• For sketch cover commissions, email me so we can set up delivery of your book.

General Guidelines

Single characters preferred: I’m a family man with four small children and a full-time job at Nickelodeon, so time is pretty limited. Weekends are for softball games, dance recitals, and ice cream with my babies, so big multi-character requests almost always end up getting bumped forever. Limiting them to one character means you won’t have to wait until you’re on social security to get your drawing.

• What I draw: Stuff from comics, cartoons, video games, and the pop culture that we all love. Super heroes, Ninja Turtles, The Legend Of Zelda, Bucky O’Hare (always down for rabbits)... if you’re here, chances are you already know what’s up. Bonus points if you request our little Filo, but I’ll draw whatever you want (mostly). That brings us to the next bit…

What I don’t draw: Generally speaking, I don’t do portraits, photo recreations, celebrity faces, or that type of thing. I also don’t design logos or tattoos. You’re welcome to use my art for your own tattoo, though (send pics if you do!). Also, nothing vulgar or sexual.

• Payment, Turnaround, and other details: Payment is due before I start. Turnaround time depends on my schedule and the type of commission you choose, but a month is a safe bet, Shipping fees are added at checkout. I package my stuff well and ship in sturdy mailers; I haven’t had a problem yet, but if one arises, we’ll work it out. I reserve the right to reproduce my drawings. The original is yours to cherish forever, unless you choose to flip it on eBay, which is cool with me. If you can double your money, even better!

I’m pretty easy, so if these options don’t fit what you’ve got in mind, shoot me an email. I can’t guarantee anything beyond what I’ve laid out here, but if I can make it happen, I will. Thanks!
